Meet Zach and Nikki

You'll meet us at every giveaway. Zach and Nikki started The Book Re-View in 2016. We're not a big organization, we're your neighbors. We live in Indianapolis, we know these schools, and we show up in person because your kids deserve to pick out books they actually want to read.

Our mission

Every kid deserves books at home. Not textbooks, not assigned reading, books they choose themselves and can't put down. We bring boxes of books to Indianapolis elementary schools and let kids pick out their favorites to keep. When your child brings home a stack of books they chose, that's our mission working.

How it started

If you're wondering who shows up at your school with boxes of books, it's us. It started with a Facebook post and $500 from Northwest Masonic Lodge. Then in April 2016, Zach started handing out books at Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School in Indianapolis. He just wanted kids in his neighborhood to have books at home. Ten years later, we've put 100,000+ books into the hands of Indianapolis elementary students. It's still just Zach and his wife Nikki, and we still show up in person to every giveaway.
